Edibles is the solo outing from Eternal Tapestry's Dewey Mahood. Shedding the Tap's heaviness in favor of the dank, humid bounce of dubcaked guitars and swirling echo, this limited cassette reeks of cave mist and cracked sunlight. Calm doesn't even begin to cover the vibe that comes floating off the surface of Mahood's gelatinous jams; guitars melt like the remnants of worry while sea of tapped percussion and the reverberating vapors of bass pull last of your resistance down into the grass for a quick nod. The tape is sold out from the label but some distro copies may remain. Hopefully this won't be the last we hear from Mahood's malleable moniker.
