Wooden Shjips tease those of us in the States with a UK only single from their last tour. A nice little one-two shot with a Neil Young Cover and a new original.

	Wooden Shjips - Vampire Blues/I Hear The Vibrations 7" I don't know if Wooden Shjips would be the band I'd peg as most likely to spin off a Young cover but then again I guess that's not too far fetched. The band tear up "Vampire Blues" off of On The Beach and its a far cry from the
original, draping Neil's stark nihilism in some heavy fuzz and a blues beat. On the flip just as much scorch and rumble as you'd expect from the Shjips making their upcoming album Dos on Holy Mountain seem pretty enticing. Track this down if you can.
