Emeralds
Emeralds have returned with yet another release in their ever expanding catalog of nebulous drone clouds. Radiating with light and most certainly locking into the sympathetic tones of the universe, the band have made a career out of making improvisation sound like bliss. What Happened is no deviation from this path, as songs bubble and throb, begging for headphones or at least a quiet moment when you can turn the stereo up as loud as possible to allow yourself to simply fold into their psychosomatic analog void. The band are so prolific that its hard to keep up these days. Having released well in excess of 30 recordings over the course of the last 3 years, mostly on small run CD-rs. Good news is on the horizon though, in addition to this release on No Fun Productions, quite a few other labels have taken note of the
and Emeralds (s/t) LP (Wagon).

Saw these guys in Bristol recently, was tops. Totally absorbing.
These guys were on the Raven bill referenced in the Raven "Comments" below. Once everyone figured out they weren't still tuning up and had actually started doing their thing, it was excellent. Intense and Krautrockish though NOT Krautrock. Vibin'
P.S. - They are from Cleveland not Cincy.
