Jesse Harper - Guitar Absolution Jesse's true name is Doug Jerbine, a member of the cult New Zealand band The Brew. When Doug left New Zealand for a stint in England he adopted the moniker Jesse Harper. In his travels he reportedly impressed Hendrix, but no arrangements were
ever made for the two to sit down to tape. This album shows just where that interest might have stemmed from. A driving set of blues with a distinctive hard edge. Guitar Absolution is truly a lost guitar gem. Unfortunately Harper was bedazzled by the burgeoning Hare Krishna movement and shortly after this album abandoned his music career, abruptly ending what could have been some great musical accomplishments. Human Instict - Stoned Guitar Another shot out of New Zealand’s 70's cult bands, Human Instinct had in Billy TK what The Brew had with Jesse Harper. Definitely touting the hard edge of NZ rock, but with a distinct psychedelic flair, Human Instinct were more than just crushing
riffs. Human Instinct and Harper crossed paths and eventually the band went on to record a few of his songs, proving that Harper wasn't merely competition but also a compatriot. This album would remain a high point for the band, after its release members began to split and the quality took a turn downward. Hello,
The comments posted about GW Williams are part of a viral marketing campaign. This person has a home-made recording on Amazon.com. You can listen to samples and see why it's clear that they had to resort to this sort of thing.
The reference to Eric Clapton seems to be drawing him in.
Please feel free to delete this entry along with his.
This seems like a nice place. It's too bad he's decided to invade it.
We've been doing battle with him and his multiple personalities on Topix. There are several indications in his posts and IP addresses that point to him being incarcerated quite possibly at Folsom prison near Sacramento.
Again, I apologize for barging in. Please feel free to block me and this other person as well.
'Garage band' quality guitar player GW Williams fakes blog entries so it looks like has fans.
Just so you know.
